What is Hospice?

Hospice care is a special type of care that focuses on palliation of a chronically or terminally ill patient's pain and symptoms. It attends to patient's physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

At Safe Mission Hospice, we understand the concerns of those who are terminally ill: pain and discomfort, fear, and loneliness and anxiety about their future. Health care of hospice patients is no longer curative and the focus is comfort of both patient and family members.
